DMTF loop

The DMTF loop offers its users a dynamic environment to:

• test and/or research developments in maritime propulsion technology in a streaming water (i.e. flow) situation
• facilitate training and education

With the TT-Sense ® implemented in the drive line, both thrust and torque at the shaft can be measured. In combination with shaft speed (rpm), flow speed and engine power, the performance of the propulsion line as a whole can be analyzed and optimized.
